Úrscéalaí, gearrscéalaí agus drámadóir aitheanta sa Bhéarla agus sa Ghaeilge is ea Éilís Ní Dhuibhne. D’fhoilsigh Cois Life dhá dráma léi Milseog an tSamhraidh agus Dún na mBan Trí Thine i 1997. Tá gradaim iomadúla buaite aici, ina measc The Stewart Parker Award agus The Bisto Book of the Year Award. Bhuaigh sí príomhdhuais an Oireachtais 2000 ar Dúnmharú sa Daingean, agus dhuais an Oireachtais 2006 ar Hurlamaboc. Is iad The Bray House, The Inland Ice agus The Dancers Dancing na príomhshaothair aici i mBéarla. Tá aistriúcháín dá cuid saothair ar fáil i nGearmáinis, Fraincis, Ollainnis, Danmhairgis, Rúisis, Slóivéinis agus teangacha eile nach iad.

A novelist, short-story writer and playwright, Éilís Ní Dhuibhne is an acclaimed and much-loved author in both English and Irish. Her novel The Dancers Dancing was shortlisted for The Orange Prize for Fiction. Her many novels in Irish include Dún an Airgid, Hurlamaboc, Dordán, Cailíní Beaga Ghleann na mBláth and Aisling Nó Iníon A.

Tonight IMRAM is delighted to celebrate her life and work in the company of poets, novelists, critics, singers and musicians – including Nuala Ní Dhomhnaill, Lilis Ó Laoire, Éilis Ní Anluain, Áine Moynihan, Fergal Mac Amhlaoibh, Anne McCabe, Peter Browne, Maighréad and Tríona Ni Dhomhnaill.
